Number One!

We are bursting with excitement over here! Sasha, my little brother, won first place in the Umphrey's McGee remix contest. First out of 75 entries! In phase one (based on popular vote) he shot up to second very early on in the voting and ended in fourth. Which was great because he just needed to be in the top ten to be judged by the band. I knew his was the best! And so did Umphrey's McGee because they picked him to be the grand prize winner!

He wins $1,000, an official spot on the Umphrey's McGee remix CD (on String Cheese Incident's record label - one of his favorite bands,) concert tickets, a mention on their blog, etc.
