Sofia, eight months
I've served small chunks of mushy banana before but Sofia had no interest in eating them since they are not random backas (Russian noun for which I'm not sure there is an English equivalent - perhaps "ickies" would be the closest thing) off the floor.
Yesterday I halved some honey-nut ohs and after eating her chicken/sweet potato/spinach, she went to work. There are few things cuter than a fat-cheeked baby fully concentrating on picking something up with her pincer grasp.
It looks like she is more of a professional, but these shots were the only evidence of success in a 20-minute or so photo shoot.
